You will receive a certificate simlar to the one on the right and a copy will be put on the SD card going to the Moon in 2021

Request to participate with the following information:

I accept the virtual Lunar Concept and its’ programs.
I understand that the program is depending on third party performance of flights, launch and landing etc. for this Moon Mission.
My name, address, and school information
I understand that schools and students can participate for FREE and an individuals can participate for $5.00 per picture & story. Businesses can purchase property on the Virtual City of Leesburg at $20 per plot.
I agree that my participation can be used to support anti-bullying and harassment programs in schools.
I agree that I have the basic understanding what the program entails.

We welcome new ideas and hope to make these ideas become a virtual reality.

Do not be afraid to ask questions, we are the first to do this and we are entering an exciting new universe.

It is well known that delays, cancellations, mishaps etc. are not uncommon in the Space industry.

It is understood that our time capsule is a secondary payload on the Moon Mission and is subject to directions of the Launch Director.

Submitted text, photos, images are your responsibility..

The Programs are supported by Citizen’s donations.

The VSC Lunar Alliance microSD chip will be carried on a ULA Vulcan Centaur rocket and is scheduled for launching from Cape Canaveral during the 2023.

Image Resizing Help

If your photo is in the Apple Photos App:

Select the picture in Photos
Select Export 1 Photo
If you don't see the Size popup, click on the Down arrow to the right of the Photo Kind popup to reveal more options.
In the Size popup, select Large.
Photo Kind should be JPEG.
JPEG Quality can be Maximum
Color Profile can be Original.
Click the Export button.
Navigate to a place you can find the Photo - suggest Desktop.
In the Finder, select the Photo file exported.
With the Photo selected, select Get Info from the File menu.
In the Info window in the General section, you should find the file size.

If your photo is not in Apple Photo App

Navigate to the photo.
Double click on the photo and Preview should open.
Select Adjust Size from the Tools menu
The current size will be listed at the bottom of this window.
If the size is over 1 MB, change the Resolution and/or Height & Width to reduce this size to less than 1MB
Select Save from the File menu.

Identify photo
Right click on photo to give drop down menu
Left click on resize, this will give the options S, M, L (Only small will fit the template for transmission to the moon,)
Left click on S small, this will reduce the resolution of the phot and ask where you want it stored.
Store Photo, with appropriate label on Desktop
Click, drag and drop new photo with reduced resolution into Lunar template.

The easiest way in iOS is to email the picture from Photos to yourself. You will be given a choice of Small, Medium, Large, and Actual Size. The Large is generally under 1 MB (1000 KB). Once you receive the resized picture you can upload it on the form.
